Deisel Generators UK organise all of your necessary maintenance and service visits to maintain your deisel generator to peak performanceto match with the specific manufacturer’s requirements.
Deisel Generators UK will arrange for up to two service and maintenance visits per year, known as A & B services.
At the first service visit, A, we clean the battery terminals and re grease the alternator bearings. We will also perform a thorough check of all moving mechanical parts as well as all the liquids and belts on the deisel generator. The engine oil, oil filter and fuel filter will be changed and a report is produced to show you the performance of your deisel generator.
The second visit, B, we will change the engine oil, oil filter and the fuel filter elements. We will also perform a comprehensive check of all of the major weak points and mechanical points including water levels, battery levels, injection pump, tappets, fan belts and cooling systems A full 1 hour load test is performed on your deisel generator to make sure that it is performing up to the specifications that manufacturers specify.
For the much larger generators, rather than replacing the engine oil we can take samples and analyse the samples.
To conclude each deisel generator maintenance visit, one of our experienced engineers will leave you with a signed report detailing the current condition of your deisel generator together with the details of any additional works that may be required to keep it in top shape. If the replacement parts that are required are with the engineers, we can either complete the work on the same visit or arrange a mutually convenient time to return and carry out the work additional work.
